Dennis Rodman is going back to North Korea

This time, he's sponsored by Potcoin.

Dennis Rodman, one-time Celebrity Apprentice contestant and five-time NBA champion who had a brief stint as a professional wrestler, has returned to North Korea sporting a T-shirt for “Potcoin,” a cryptocurrency for the legal marijuana industry that has somehow existed for three years.

Yes, you read that right. Rodman’s trip is being “sponsored” by, uh, Potcoin. Last time Rodman went to North Korea in 2014 as a stunt for Vice, he described dictator Kim Jong Un as a "very good guy.” Unfortunately for Rodman and the people of North Korea, Un is not a very good guy, or even just a good guy. In North Korea, “18 million people continue to suffer from food insecurity and undernutrition, as well as a lack of access to basic services," according to a U.N. report. "Furthermore, 10.5 million people, or 41 percent of the total population, are undernourished."

According to the New York Times, “some analysts” theorized that Rodman may be back in North Korea to work as a backchannel for the Trump administration. There’s no public facing evidence that really bears that out, but let’s be honest, if that ended up being true, would you really be shocked at this point?
