Despite near-constant challenges to his administration, support for President Donald Trump is increasing among his base. A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 88 percent of Trump voters said they would vote for him again, compared to 82 percent of respondents who were polled in May. But Trump is losing support among older white voters, a critical component of his base, Reuters found.

The Trump voters who said they don’t plan on voting for him again gave several reasons for their waning support, including his “daily trolling of Democrats, the media and the judiciary” and their perception that he hasn’t deported immigrants quickly enough.

Beverly Guy, 34, told Reuters she only voted for Trump because she didn’t like Hillary Clinton, but she would change her vote if she could. Guy added that she would probably vote for Gary Johnson if the election were held today. “I care more about my neighbors than I do about politics,” she said.
