I am very hard to buy gifts for. This is probably due to the fact that I usually just buy the things I want on my own. But it’s probably also because I have incredibly weird and particular tastes, and the things I want tend to be, well, kind of expensive.
As an experiment I started making a list of all the things that I might possibly want as a gift this holiday season (or really, things that I might just buy myself). After looking it over, I felt that perhaps my list could help others with difficult shopping experiences ahead of them.
I want to stress that this stack is in no way intended to be a wink or a nudge to anyone who personally knows me. I am not — I repeat not — asking you to buy me this stuff. Please do not buy any of these things for me. I would be very angry.
