A cybersecurity firm independently found that Russia hacked the DNC
The US government has been saying this since October, but some security researchers were skeptical because of a lack of public information.
CrowdStrike, a well-known security firm, released evidence that the hackers were tied to GRU, Russia's military intelligence arm.
The hacker group is known as Fancy Bear.
