The thing about saying your opinion about anything out loud and in public — more specifically, your opinion about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who has now been accused by at least two women of sexual impropriety — is that you don’t ever have to do it, even if for some reason you think it is your job to do so. Until then, here are some examples of people (journalists) who have said things when they could have just been quiet, with brief commentary.
